What we collect, and why.
Placeholder. This notice describes what the website actually does today. It has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor, and the registered company details, data controller identity and supervisory authority reference still need to be added before launch.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, company, job role, team, request type, estimated quantity, budget band, countries or regions, your message, the gift you were looking at, and the page you sent the request from. We also record the date and time.
We ask you not to include recipient names or addresses in the form. If a send goes ahead, we agree a secure way to collect delivery details separately.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote or proposal. That is the only reason. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in Amazon Web Services in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region, and a notification email is sent to our team so we see it. This website is served from Amazon CloudFront, which keeps standard access logs.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no third-party trackers on it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we are in conversation with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
Getting your data removed
Email hello@giftoncue.com and ask us to delete your enquiry. We will do it and confirm.
